NARAL PAC endorses Lawless
The NARAL Pro-Choice America PAC has endorsed congressional candidate Jennifer Lawless in her Democratic primary contest against Rep. James R. Langevin.
Lawless supports abortion rights, but Langevin does not, except in rare cases.
"Rhode Island families deserve a leader who will fight to protect their right to choose," Lawless said in a statement announcing the endorsement. "NARAL is fighting hard to protect women's reproductive freedom, and I look forward to helping them as the next congressperson from Rhode Island's 2nd District to protect our private and personal medical decisions from interference by politicians."
NARAL is the seventh national organization to endorse Lawless, along with the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the National Organization for Women PAC, Women's Campaign Fund, the National Women's Political Caucus, the Business and Professional Women PAC and the Women Under Forty PAC.
